An Art class at UTC, attended in 1975, was but a dim memory. In order to paint
landscapes she had seen during a visit to Irelandin 1998, BJ participated in several local art workshops to sharpen her talent.
In doing so, she began developing her own style.
BJ and several artist friends established the Art Alliance of North Georgia where
she served as president in 2002-2003. She is also
an active member of the Civic Arts League of Chattanooga, TN.
Her artwork has been featured at Gallery 111 in Dalton, GA. The Colonnade in Catoosa County, GA, and the Creative Arts Guild Festival in Dalton, GA, are other venues for her work. Collectors of her artwork are from several
states in the Southeast and in Ireland.
